When I was in the final stages of my dissertation, I was struggling with the flow of one of the key chapters. A colleague, who knew of Cynthia's editing skills, suggested that I ask her for input on editing. I didn't know what to expect, and I felt a lot of pressure since the deadline was approaching. I knew the chapter needed work and I sensed that it was disjointed, and I had been working on it so closely it was difficult for me to figure it out.  

I spoke with Cynthia about my dilemma and she agreed to look at the chapter. In no time she understood what needed to be done. She quickly identified the text that needed to be linked more clearly, and also made several suggestions on how the entire chapter could be made to flow more harmoniously. 

Needless to say, I was very impressed with her work and professional approach. It was as if she intuitively understood what needed to be done. I feel Cynthia's editing gave the dissertation the cohesion that it needed.
